About Maar Gateway
Maar Gateway has been established to assist locum agencies and other organisations to meet their Responsible
Officer obligations.
Maar Gateway will primarily work with independent organisations such as locum agencies and smaller independent
health providers to provide responsible officer and appraisal services.
Maar Gateway will offer a contractual hub. This will create obligations between doctors being revalidated and
appraised, organisations and the responsible officers and appraisers.
As an organisation, Maar Gateway aims to operate within the spirit of the responsible officers purpose, so to
both provide protection and facilitate doctors development.
